Paola Baldanzi is an illustrator and graphic designer who works in the publishing industry. Born in Florence, Italy, she now lives in the Tuscan countryside just outside the city. She finished her classical studies at the Liceo Classico and then devoted herself to the study of painting techniques, human anatomy and illustration for children. Paola specializes in scientific and historical subjects. She has been illustrating educational books for children for many years as well as textbooks and manuals for all ages. You can find her illustrations in books dealing with varied subjects including but not limited to history, science, anatomy, fiction, Western and Ayurvedic massage, cooking, gardening, and cartography. Her longtime publishing clients include Mondadori, RCS, Cetem, De Agostini, Giunti, Ravensburger, and Pearson.
