Giulia Bracesco was born in Genoa, Italy, in 1987. She has loved reading stories and drawing ever since she was a child. When she was 8 years old, she discovered that being an illustrator could be a real job and she decided that illustration would be her career. Giulia studied graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts of Genoa. Later on in 2014, she earned a degree in illustration from the Academy of Fine arts of Bologna, where she graduated 110/110 cum laude at the top of her class. Giulia has worked as freelance illustrator on several children´s books for established publishers such as Mondadori, Piemme, Einaudi, Giunti. She works with numerous educational publishers including Pearson, La Scuola, Raffaello, and Giunti. Giulia lives and works in Genoa.
