Children´s Illustrations for Change

Almost 90 percent of the world’s children are now affected by school closures. Combined with the physical distancing being practiced across the globe, many young people are starting to feel more fear, anxiety, and uncertainty.

MIA's children's illustration classes are inspired by the #ReadtheWorld initiative, a collaboration between UNICEF and the International Publishers Association, bringing the world of children’s stories into the lives of kids across the world.

Every Wednesday for the foreseeable future, MIA will offer free illustration classes taught by internationally acclaimed children's illustrators. We hope you enjoy the classes and would be happy to showcase your completed illustrations.
