Manola Caprini was born in Italy in 1979. She has been drawing ever since she can remember and always knew that she wanted to be an artist when she grew up. After her studies in art, she started her first collaborations with Italian publishers. Since 2010, Manola has worked as a freelance illustrator from her home studio and has illustrated several children´s books for established publishing houses in France, England, Italy, Canada, and Belgium. Some of her clients include Disney, Oxford University Press, Usborne, Hachette Children’s Group UK, Hachette Educational, Pearson, Fleurus Presse, and Mondadori. When she isn’t working, she likes reading, talking with people, walking in the countryside and taking a nap, of course! Manola is a children’s book illustrator, book lover, and proud vegetarian.
