Giampietro Costa was born in Verona, Italy, where he lives and works. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. He was a teacher and set designer for some years before he started working as a free-lance hyperrealist illustrator for the advertising and editorial sectors.
He is specialized in comics but he has also illustrated several children’s books.
He works with many important advertising agencies, publishing firms and magazines.
He uses traditional and digital techniques.
